Driving Miss Daisy
When:
Fri., Jul 26 - Sun., Aug 4
Where:
Murphy Auditorium, 419 Tavern St., New Harmony, IN
Miss Daisy is getting old, but the play never will. When Daisy’s son hires Hoke Coleburn, a black man, as a driver to keep his mother off the road, the 25 years they spend together form an ironic and delicate counterpoint to the civil rights struggle of the 1950s and 1960s.
